How it all started

VERRECCHIA'S ICE CREAM was established in 1967 by Ivo Verrecchia. Drawing on his experience from his Italian background in ice cream retailing, Ivo introduced his first soft ice cream van to the 'Backs' of Cambridge's Kings College (Queens Road).

Generations of families have since been served by our soft ice cream vans and they have become a familiar sight around the streets of Cambridge and the East Anglia area.
